Here’s an impression from the night of the last games this season … In order to view it, you will need Quicktime. Mac users are already covered . Stay tuned for the golf outings!
Nice photo Jess…..what a fine looking bunch of “clean-living” young men ..!!!
Anyway, just for the record, Angels 3 qualified from their playoff matches and will be attacking Division 2 next season. A personal thanks to all those who participated in this achievement, you thoroughly deserved to go up.
Congratulations to all 3 Angels teams, it was a mega-good season!!
Rich
ANGELS 2 beat Lazy Lob 2 last night 3-1 (10-5):
Stavros (B1) beat Daniel Barrs (B3): 3-0 (27/11)
Dimitri (B2) lost to Jens Ostergaard (B3): 1-3 (19/31)
Eric (C1) beat Danny Barrs (ACL – Daniel’s father): 3-1 (31/25)
Richard (C3) beat Beny Henx (C2): 3-1 (30/24)
So it’s 26 points in 5 games… very good… unbeaten in 5 games.
Next game will be in October.
Arlon 2 and BGL also managed to stay in Division 1. Lazy Lob 2 will play in Division 2 next year.
BGL and Lazy Lob 2, both lost 3-1 last night and finished with the same number of points but BGL beat Lazy Lob 2 earlier in the playoff.
Sandra Denis scored the crucial point for BGL last night against Stéphane Allart as she won 10-9 in the fifth coming back from 2 sets to 1.
Get ready for tougher opposition next season: EIB 1, Pétange 1, Ettelbrück 2, Arlon 2 and BGL.

It was decided to continue the squash on Monday nights during the off-season and reserve the Wednesday nights for golf outings at Kikouka and Preisch. Anyone interested in participating should let Jess know.
First outing would probably be 7 May at Preisch.
We are eating at Top Squash after the game on Wednesday. Please show up in your t-shirts so I can take some pictures of you all for the upcoming photo album to published on these pages. And yes, you will be able to use them as Christmas presents for grand parents
